MANHOLE REHABILITATION

There is no need to dig up a street, sidewalk, or land to replace a manhole; it can be recoated and sealed from the inside.

MANHOLE REHABILITATION TYPES

The entire manhole is relined, much like a mainline sewer.  The liner is cured into place to create a new manhole without excavation.

Once the manhole has been cleaned and all sources of infiltration have been sealed, a spray-applied cementitious coating is added to the existing structure.

Epoxy provides a nice finished product as well as providing another layer of sealant.

Chemical grout is pumped into the outer surroundings of the existing manhole and will cure into place to seal off any infiltration.  This process is very effective in stopping active leaks.

In this case, chemical grout was used to stop the leaky manhole.

Note: The leak is coming from above the PVC on the barrel of the manhole.
